Dawn Hall Porter

Dawn Felicia Hall-Porter was born April 18, 1967 in Brooklyn, NY to the proud parentage of Carlyle & Mary Olivia Cooper Hall. Dawn transitioned from this life on December 29, 2020 from her battle with breast cancer at North side Gwinnett Medical Center in Georgia. “Fe-fe” as she was affectionately called was a true fighter and a very determined spirit. She started school at 4 years old. She went from 6th to 8th grade because she was so smart and head of her class. She graduated from Bay ridge H.S. Brooklyn, NY. Dawn Married Keith Porter Dec 23, 1999 and had (2) exceptional children Malik & Matai. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Lawrenceville. She was a graduate of Atlanta Christian College A.S. She held many certifications & licenses. Dawn was a light, she was highly intelligent, smart, and witty and she had a way with people. Everywhere she went she made friends. She was bold and she wasn’t afraid to live life. She was a go-getter. She was a true leader. She knew a lot about everything and often found solutions to everyone’s problems. She was classy and liked nice things. Her children were her joy and she loved them so much. She was everyone’s mom. Dawn was strong. Her faith carried her through this journey. She was an amazing wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, cousin and friend. She was deeply loved and certainly had a love for her family that is indescribable in words, but the photos tell it all. There are so many stories to be told and seasons upon seasons of great times that we all shared with her. She will be missed so much. Time holds all of our memories and life long bonds that linger in the universe. She is at peace now and that is the ultimate position of power. Grandchildren: Eli Hall, Ava-Marie Hall, Ian Hall, Bertram Gillings. Wilbourn (Brooklyn, NY), (1) Brother in Law: (Mack T Wilbourn, preceded her in death), Sister in Law: Pamela Wilbourn. Niece: Tamika S. Wilbourn (NY), Wynita Alves, Great Neice: Nalah Auset Wilbourn NY, Nephews: Mack T. Wilbourn (Timmy) NY, Matthew G.
