Colette Angela Griffith

COLETTE ANGELA GRIFFITH was born on Wednesday, July 27, 1949, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, USA, and formerly of Worthing View, Christ Church, Barbados, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024, at Emory Hospital. Colette was a teacher at Springer Memorial School, before emigrating to the USA in 1980. On her arrival to the USA, she served in the UNITED STATES ARMY, and then later worked for the Veterans Administrative Offices before retirement. Predeceased by her sister Marjorie Thomas (BARBADOS); she is survived by her other sisters Mary Webb, Beverley Cole (USA), Margaret Griffith, Evelyn Jordan (Barbados), and one brother, Geoffrey Griffith (Canada). Aunt of Victor, Michelle, Lester, Seymour, John, David, Joseph and Deborah Millington, Grace Miller, Joycelyn Boyce, Christine King, Marlene Goodman, Yvonne Foster, David Griffiths, Geoffrey Griffiths, Janet Griffiths, Wilma Waithe, Neil Moore, Jennifer Moore, Stephen Bynoe, John Webb, Sandra Webb, Anthony Webb, Cheryl Griffith, Colin Griffith, Patrick Griffith, Sonia Persico, Michael Griffith, George Griffith, Suzanne Adjangba, Patrick Porter Great aunt of many. Relative of the Hutson AND Bramao Family. She was the cherished friend of Jennifer Morrison, Wayne Bynoe, Michael Knight, Ormenta Branker and family and several others. A celebration of life will take place on February 23, 2024, at the Gregory B. Levett Chapel, Scottdale, Georgia, USA, AT 11:00 AM, followed by interment at Georgia National Cemetery.
