Obituary Well done, good and faithful servant. - Matthew 25:23 Pastor Christine Campbell Walker was born on December 25, 1956, in Gainesville, Florida, to the late Willie Sr. and Inez Campbell. A woman of deep faith, strength, and compassion, she was called home after a life devoted to God, her family,and her community. A proud graduate of Buchholz High School, Class of 1974, Christine continued her education at Santa Fe College, where she studied Child Daycare and Education and Sociology. Her studies reflected her lifelong passion for nurturing, teaching,and uplifting others. In 1983, Pastor Walker answered the call of God upon her life and began her years of faithful ministry. She later became the Pastor and Founder of Conquerors of Jesus Christ Ministry, Inc., where she dedicated herself to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She truly was handpicked and chosen by God. Though she endured many hard trials and tribulations, the Lord carried her through them all. She loved working for Jesus and serving His people, always striving to treat others as she would want to be treated and to love with the love of Christ. Pastor Walker was grateful for the smallest blessings, celebrated everyone, and found joy in the simplest things. Whether through a warm greeting, a word of encouragement, or her radiant smile, she made sure that everyone she met felt valued, uplifted, and loved. Even while carrying her own burdens, she gave comfort and hope freely. Beyond the pulpit, Pastor Walker was a woman of many gifts. She was an author, fashion designer, mentor, and philanthropist, using every talent God gave her to pour into the lives of others. She inspired countless individuals to believe in themselves, trust God, and walk boldly in their purpose. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Clarey Walker Jr., who passed in 2015; her parents, Willie Sr. and Inez Campbell; and her siblings Joseph L. Campbell, Joyce C. Norman, Jameson L. Campbell, Pastor Willie Campbell Jr., Johnny Campbell and Viola C. Lacey. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving children: Lanitta Simmons, Annetta Simmons; James Perry; Elax Woods (Shenika); Willie Ross Jr.; Hezekiah Ross (Simony); and Joseph Ross. Her legacy continues through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Howard Whaley Jr.; Tramahn Whaley (Aviana, Josiah, Malyk); Elijah Whaley; Alniyah Stone; Shamaya Hines; Alex Hines (Leilani, Luca, Luna); Kayla Simmons(Ariel, Azai, Oshen, Onayla); Inez Simmons; Victoria Epps; Isaiah Simmons; Micah Simmons (Mason); Li'Andria Epps;James Perry Jr.; Brandon Perry; Austyn Perry; Ianj Hansen; Elax Woods Jr.; Emoni Woods; Enzo Woods; Lavontrelle Ross; London Ross; Willie Ross III; and Melyna Ross. She is also survived by her dear siblings: Gerry Campbell, Willie Mae McNair, and Maude C. Harmony, Gloria Trapt, Minister Ollie Woods, Gayle Yvonne Walker, Deacon Jerry Campbell, Patricia Diez, Ronnie Campbell, Vera Smith, and David Campbell, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, church family, and friends. Pastor Christine Campbell Walker’s life was a testimony of faith, endurance, servanthood, and unconditional love. Her prayers, her teachings, and her example will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
