Obituary for Carolyn Ann Bean Jackson With deep love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Carolyn Ann Bean Jackson, who departed this life on February 14, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on November 16, 1955, in Pompano Beach, Florida, Carolyn lived a life full of warmth, dedication, and creativity. Carolyn was a devoted Christian who loved the Lord and lived her life as a reflection of her faith. She was a woman of kindness, strength, and grace, always sharing her love and wisdom with those around her. She spent much of her professional career as a Produce Manager for Publix Supermarkets, where her strong work ethic and kind spirit made a lasting impact. However, it was her deep love for flowers that led her to fulfill her dream of opening her own floral shop, "A Design By Carol." Her creativity and passion brought joy to many, and her floral arrangements were a true reflection of the beauty she saw in the world. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Laswanya, her brother, Romie, her father, Homer, and her mother, Annie Doris. Left to cherish her memory is her devoted husband of 54 years, Charles, her loving children Sunjia "Dodie," Charles Jr. "June Bug," and Jonathan "JJ," along with her 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brothers, Joseph "Chris" and John, and her sisters, Barbara and Andrea, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Carolyn's presence was a gift to all who knew her. She will be remembered for her unwavering love for family, her creative spirit, and her deep faith in God. She lived her life with love, purpose, and devotion, and her legacy will continue in the hearts of those she touched. Her funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Stockbridge, Georgia. Her body will be laid to rest in Quitman, Georgia, at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery at 12 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025. The family invites all who knew and loved her to join in honoring her memory. Her love, faith, and kindness will continue to bloom in the hearts of those she left behind.
