Carol Bernice Lopez-Watson

Carol Bernice Leggett was born to the parents of Roosevelt and Elizabeth Smith Leggett on January 24, 1971 in Miami Beach, Florida. Carol attended the Dade County School System where she graduated and received her diploma in 1989. Carol was always a loving and quiet child. She gave so much to others because of the love she had. Carol was able to experience a love deeper than she thought she could imagine when she gave birth to her daughter, Trenice A. Leggett. Then, three years later she experienced this love again when she gave birth to her second daughter, Chaquera M. Jenkins in 1992. She was the best mother to these jewels. Carol began to thirst for something more and began to seek the Lord. Carol accepted the Lord as her Lord and Savior in the summer of 1994. She became a member of S.O.T.M.F.C in Miami, Florida. Carol became a Children's Church leader and loved on every child that was under her leadership. After being in Florida for her entire life, she took a leap of faith and moved to Alabama with her leaders. A short time later she relocated to Lawrenceville, Georgia where this became her final home. She continued to do what she loved, working with children at Kids R Kids, later working for Gwinnett County School System as a School Bus Driver. She later became a member of Sunrise Baptist Church and a member of W.O.W (Warriors on The Wall). Then in January of 2010, she married the love of her life, Mauricio Lopez Watson. In that same year, Carol received her degree of Arts in Business at The University of Phoenix. She became a stay-at-home wife, mother and teacher to her grandson. Carol Bernice Leggett Lopez Watson leaves to cherish her memories; her loving and devoted husband Mauricio Lopez Watson; two loving and cherished daughters, Trenice A. Leggett and Chaquera M. Jenkins; Father; Roosevelt Leggett (preceded her in death); loving and faithful mother; Elizabeth S. Leggett, her one and only loving sister; Janet E. Leggett - Rodney; three brothers; Brian Christopher Leggett (preceded her in death) , Kevin (Belinda) Leggett and Darrell Leggett; two grandchildren; her one and only granddaughter, McKenzie Janay Gaines (preceded her in death); her one and only grandson, Tyler Brown. She also leaves to cherish five loving bonus children; Angel Lopez, Fernando Lopez, Ronaldo Lopez, Talisa Lopez and Tatyana Lopez who have a special place in her heart; and a host of nieces, nephews' other relatives and dear friends.
