Carlton Baldwin Jr.

Carlton Pierre Baldwin Jr. was born on September 30, 1987, and raised in Yonkers, New York to his father Carlton Baldwin Sr. and his mother Wendy Bland-Baldwin. Carlton Jr was one of eight children and the oldest boy. He played youth baseball and football for North Yonkers Knights during grade school. Carlton enjoyed drawing and used his drawings to identify who he was. He was a fan of Horror films as well as thrillers. When Carlton was in Gorton High School, he and his family relocated to Duluth, GA in 2004. It was then in 2006, he graduated from Berkmar High School. He began working during high school before he graduated and continued his journey in the restaurant. He became a host and waiter as he excelled and won awards. Pierre began his battle with cancer in 2019. In these short years during his challenging days, he learned to overcome his fears of life and draw closer to Jehovah. He fought hard during his illness and spoke with us daily. In his last days all he wanted was his family and we were able to see him and pray with him. He succeeded in his wish to become a better person and made sure to let everyone know how much he loved them. On August 3, 2022, Pierre passed away peacefully in his sleep at the Sacred Journey Hospice facility. Carlton is survived by his parents Carlton Sr. and Wendy Baldwin; and siblings: Kiyona Smith, Shene Hilaire, Marquita Baldwin, Nichelle Smith, Domonique Baldwin, Jazzmin Baldwin, and Chance Baldwin; and Grandparents: Robert Bland Jr. and Rosalind Baldwin; and Aunt: Diane Bland, Andrea Needham & Joyce Needham; and Uncles: Kirk Baldwin, Shannon Baldwin, Dru Baldwin; and God siblings: Danesha Johnson, Bobby Daniels. Anthony, Jonathan, and Christopher Chin, Sean and Rejanee Johnson. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; Eunique, Kameo, Eungene, Kait’lyn, Kamya, Ava, Dior, Saniyah, Douglas Jr., Michael III, Naomi, Mark Jr., Jahmel Jr., Genesis, Simmone, Ari Rose, Royalty and many more. He was also survived by many cousins, aunts and uncles. He is deceased by his maternal grandmother Cheryl Bland and Paternal grandfather Carlton Baldwin, and Aunt Maxine Stores.
