Mr. Brian Dwayne Smith

Brian Dwayne Smith was born on March 11, 2003, in Baltimore, Maryland, to Tiffany Chase and the late Lawrence Dwayne Smith Jr. From the moment Brian entered this world, Brian carried a quiet strength and an unmistakable light that touched everyone who knew him. Brian shared a deep and special bond with his mother, Tiffany. Wherever she was, Brian was never far behind. Their connection was built on love, trust, and an unspoken understanding that only a mother and son can share. As a child, Brian was quiet but observant, always curious about the world around him. He was helpful, independent, and always wanted to do things his way. He loved playing sports. Brian played football, basketball and soccer. Football was his passion, Brian played football for the Grayson Rams from grade school into High School. Brian formed friendships and learned the value of teamwork and determination. Brian received his education through Gwinnett County Public Schools. He was a hard worker who enjoyed working with his hands and took pride in trying to do things right. His smile could light up any room, and his calm grounded presence and brought comfort to those around him. One of the most cherished relationships in Brian’s life was with his big sister, Mykel Scott. Though she was older, she lovingly referred to him as her “big little brother.” Their bond was unbreakable, rooted in laughter, loyalty, and love. Brian leaves behind a family that loved him deeply and will forever carry his memory in their hearts: his devoted mother Tiffany Chase; his beloved sister Mykel Scott, his grandmother Zelda Thomas, his bonus dad, Jason Young; his brother Montez Smith, his sister JaMeyia Smith; and his nephews Kenzo, Mazi and Ace. He is also remembered with love by his great-aunt Lorren, great-great-uncle Tree, Aunt Debroah, Uncle Elijah, Uncle Derrick, and special companion Milan. He also leaves behind bonus aunties who embraced him with open arms: Celestine, Tiffani West, and Dionysica. Brian will be remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends that knew and loved him. Brian’s life, though far too short, was full of love, laughter, and meaningful connections. His legacy will live on in the hearts.
