Mr. Brandon Scott Sistrunk

Brandon Scott Sistrunk was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 21, 1985, to Keith Anthony Sistrunk and Paula (Franklin) Sistrunk Lewis. In 1990 Brandon’s mother relocated to Georgia and established residency in Dekalb County. Brandon received his formative education at Shamrock Middle School; graduating from Druid Hills High School in 2004. Even as a child, Brandon was known as a kind, considerate and conscientious individual, and was well liked by his teachers, classmates, and peers. Brandon lived such a remarkable life, modeling his accomplishments by confidently moving in vision and determination. He set his focus on the pursuit of furthering his education by attending Georgia State University (Atlanta, Georgia), graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Policy Studies and Economics. Brandon’s academic commitment to excellence awarded him the opportunity to intern with the Department of Transportation as an Executive Assistant under the leadership of the Office of Mayor, Shirley Franklin 2007-2008. As an Undergraduate Student, Brandon was nominated for numerous positions of service and awards to include the Georgia State Torch of Peace Award 2007. Ultimately, as a result of his academic achievements and commitment to service, Brandon was Honored with the Andrew Young Award. Upon graduation, Brandon joined the Department of Veteran Affairs, Isakson VA Atlanta Regional Office (2009), where he proudly served as an Authorization Quality Review Specialist for over 15 years. Brandon, affectionately known by his family and friends as “Buzzy B or Brainy”, was a beloved Son, Devoted Father, Cherished Sibling, and a Friend to many. He earned this title as a result of his relentless pursuit of knowledge, personal growth and development. Brandon had a kind, conscientious, and generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His infectious laughter and unwavering love for his family will forever be missed. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his children, creating cherished memories through family vacations or cheering them on at their sports events. He was a dedicated father who took pride in every moment shared with them. As a Self- Motivated Enthusiast and Visionary, Brandon pursued his Entrepreneurial Passion for business by establishing Select Executive Concierge LLC, while simultaneously serving as a Dekalb County Notary, Managing multiple strategic investments in Real Estate, Stock and Project Management. Brandon was vigilant about executing and teaching the commitment of living a Debt Free Lifestyle, as outline in his Business Model of Cyrus Adams Capital LLC. Driven by sheer ambition, dedication, and love for his family as the driving force behind his business acumen, Brandon soon became the Community “Go To Person” for Insight on Successful Strategies, Investments and Projected Outcomes. Ultimately, his presence brought comfort, light and warmth to those around him. Brandon is survived by his beloved children, Joshua Cyrus Sistrunk, and Jeremiah Adam Sistrunk, (Decatur, GA); his loving Mother, Paula Denise Lewis,( Conyers, GA); Father, Keith Anthony Sistrunk (Tina), (Montgomery, AL); one brother, Keith Everson Sistrunk (Kristin), (Rex, GA); two nephews, Jaylen Dewayne Sistrunk, (Powder Springs, GA) and William Sir Anthony Sistrunk,(Rex, GA);one niece, Isabella Marie Sistrunk, (Rex, GA) nine aunts and uncles, Victor Franklin(Lori)( Land O’ Lakes, FL), Katrina Baldwin(Lorenzo) (Gates, NC), Debra Turner( Pleasant Grove, Al), Gloria Knox(Dannie (Ozark, AL), Michael Sistrunk (Ozark, AL), Marilyn Bohanan(Donald) (Albany, GA), Tiffany Franklin (Newark, NJ), Shantell Franklin (Edison, NJ), Latoya Frankin (Roselle, NJ). He leaves behind a cherished, Adopted Aunt, Kimberly Silas (Stone Mountain, GA), and Adopted Grandmother, Mary Silas (Bartow, FL). Among those who will forever cherish his memory is his Best Friend, Samuel Penn (Decatur, GA), who was more like family and shared an unbreakable bond with him and a host of loving cousins and dear friends.
