Mr. Arrie Cleo Glover, 53, of Morrow, GA passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Celebration of Life services will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023, 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 216 West Mill Street, Jonesboro, GA 30326. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 12 PM to 8PM at Gregory B. Levett & Sons - Gwinnett Chapel, 914 Scenic Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30045. On the day of the visitation, the family will be in attendance from 6pm until 8pm. Interment will be held at Southview Cemetery, 1990 Jonesboro Rd SE, Atlanta, GA, 30315. Please feel free to call us at 770-338-5558 if you have any questions. Arrie C. Glover, affectionately known as Junior was born on June 26, 1970, in Miami, FL to Arrie C. Glover, Jr and Dorothy Lee. He grew up in Miami, FL where he was surrounded by a large loving network of family and friends. Junior attended Miami Central High School where he was an active member in the honors marching band and very popular amongst his peers. After high school he went on to become an entrepreneur of multiple successful businesses in the trucking industry. Junior was an extremely motivated man, a go getter and very active in his ideas. In his spare time, he would continue to build his music collection, which began at a very young age. From the time of buying 12inch albums and cassette tapes, through the years of CD’s and the most recent downloads and streaming. This passion led to a partnership with him assisting his brother Kareem in operating a successful DJ company known as City Life Entertainment in Miami, FL. In addition to assisting with his brothers' DJ company, Junior also spent time sharing his skills with his cousins Lisa and Rod in the second phase of City Life Entertainment. Junior had a larger than life personality! It was not uncommon to find him at a family function telling one of his LENGHTY stories or sharing some big idea. He was very entertaining. Junior never settled for mediocre, he always went BIG! Junior was a very generous man; if he had it, you had it. Throughout the years, he would give his younger siblings “$20 for an A”. A memory they will never forget. The love he had for his family was unmatched. Junior was a loving and devoted husband, father, son and brother. And his three children Alexus, Jalen and Jevon were his world. On October 17, 2023, Junior passed away. His sudden and untimely passing has left an unforgettable void in the lives of those who knew him. He was preceded in death by his sister, Shaundra Grimes affectionately known as Niecy; Paternal Grandfather Arrie C. Glover, Sr., and Paternal Grandmother Alma Sutton. Maternal Grandfather Thomas J. Tillman and Maternal Grandmother Eula B. Tillman. He is survived by his wife Mercedes Glover, One daughter Alexus Glover, two sons Jalen and Jevon Glover. His father Arrie C. Glover, Jr. (Selma), and his mother Dorothy Lee. Three brothers; Timothy Bessent (Cynthia), Kareem Glover (Lisa), and Jereem Brinson, Sr. Four sisters; Qiana Tilley, Tamira Glover, Shakira Glover and Brittany Brinson. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
