Mr. Aaron Anton Barnes

Aaron Anton Barnes was born to Jack Barnes and Addie Mae Barnes on December 22, 1974, in Charleston, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Eddie and Bernice Barnes, and his maternal grandparents, Maybell and Russell Kenerly. He met the love of his life, Traisee Cargile, in 2005 and decided that he would not do life without her. They were married April 29, 2006, and were committed to each other until his death. Already a father to Skylar, he became a father to Lathesia and David Cargile. He was a God-fearing man above all else and attended Revision Church Atlanta SDA under the leadership of Dr. Charles Wesley Knight. He made it his life’s mission to provide for his family. He shared a special connection with his granddaughter, Nevaeh, who was the apple of his eye. He was a master electrician, truly dedicated to his craft and willing to work countless hours to make sure the job was completed. Aaron closed his eyes on September 12, 2023. He is remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and coworker. We know that we will see him again when Christ returns to receive His own. He leaves to mourn: his wife, Traisee Barnes; children, Skyler Zimmerman and Lathesia and David Cargile; grandchildren, Amyris, Heavenly, David Jr., Jocelyn, Asher, Djari, Nevaeh, and Dior; mother, Addie Barnes; father and stepmother, Jack and Belinda Barnes; Aaron also leaves behind his father and mother-in-law, Harry and Sharyn Ferguson; father-in-law, Lawrence Cargile; siblings, Celestine, Jeffrey, and Lakeisha; siblings-in-law, Tonya, Paul, Tawanda, Talesha, and Lacresha; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Celebration of Life Services for Aaron Anton Barnes will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 1 PM. These services will be recorded and streamed live.
