Stephan A. Thompson II

Stephan Austin Thompson II, “Steve,” was born on May 4, 1980, in Frankfurt, Germany, to his proud parents, Mary G. Thompson and Stephan Austin Thompson. Both parents were in the military. Due to his military upbringing as a child, Steve traveled the world extensively and lived in many places both internationally and domestically. Steve moved to Georgia in June of 1995 and permanently resided in Atlanta since 2010. He attended Riverdale High School in Clayton County, Georgia. Steve was a very ambitious entrepreneur. In 2011, he created Truck Trailer & Me, LLC, and grew his moving company to a thriving six-figure business within one year after the birth of his son. On June 27, 2013, Steve welcomed his pride and joy and most precious gift, Stephan Austin Thompson III (“Bam”), and that became his life. There was nothing on earth Steve loved more than Bam, and he showed it every single day. In 2015, he wed his longtime girlfriend and Bam’s mother, Melodee C. Rhodes. In 2021, Steve embarked on another entrepreneurial venture and launched i-Tow, LLC. On any given day, you could see his tow truck on the roads of Atlanta doing what he does best, helping people. We liked to call him the “Good Samaritan” because he would always be so willing to help others at the expense of himself. Steve was always a big dreamer who believed in himself. He was self-motivated, strong-willed, and determined to give Bam the greatest life possible. To know Steve was to know his true passion and love of cars and his unparalleled ability to put a car together like no other. He loved fashion and his clothes and shoes were put together in a way that no one else could match. Though introverted by nature, in a social setting he was the life of the party. Some would say he was simply THE PARTY. Steve is survived by his son, Stephan Austin Thompson III; mother, Mary BostickGoodson; stepfather, Arnold Goodson; sister, Aucencia Thompson; uncle, James Bostick; aunt, Patricia Bostick; nephew, Deondre Thompson; niece, Skylar McDaniel; godmother, Aggie Townsend; godfather, Larry Townsend; uncle, Chase Hardy; and a host of cousins, dear family, and special friends.
