Paulette Cherry Clark

Paulette Delores Cherry Clark was born on April 29, 1952 in Jasper, Georgia (Pickens County) to James Cherry and Mary Louise Cherry. She attended Decatur High School in Decatur, Georgia and Atlanta Area Technical College in Atlanta, Georgia. Paulette accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior early in adulthood and was a member of First Baptist Church of Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia. She truly loved the Lord, going to Church, singing hymns, reading her Bibles, and sharing her Faith by praying and witnessing to many. Paulette loved her children and grandchildren and cherished every moment she spent with each of them. Although Paulette was retired, she spent many years working as a Certified Nurse Assistant and adored those she took care of. Her interests were spending time with family and friends, cooking, baking, sewing, fishing, and playing computer games such as Solitaire and Mahjong. Paulette Cherry Clark departed this earthly life on the morning of Wednesday, January 27, 2021 and is preceded in death by her father James Cherry, mother Mary Louise Cherry, brothers Donald Cherry and Bruce Cherry, and son Joshua Maddox. Paulette leaves to cherish her memory; sons: Mr. Antonio Stephenson, Mr. John (LaToya) Maddox, and Mr. Michael (Stephany) Maddox, daughters: Ms. Peteria Maddox, Mrs. Michele (Ira) Adkins, and Miss Anastasia Maddox. Grandchildren: Asia Gravely, Teresa Maddox, Chloe Maddox, Dexter Walker Jr., Andrew Walker, Michaela Maddox, Saniya Maddox, Michael Maddox Jr., Johnathan Maddox, and Logan Maddox, stepmother: Ms. Eloise Cherry; brothers: Mr. James (Lucille) Cherry, Mr. Randy (Janice) Cherry, Mr. Rick (Donatella) Cherry, Mr. Michael Cherry, sisters: Mrs. Clarissa (William) Pratt, Mrs. Denise (Birk) Jackson, Ms. Rebecca Cherry, and Mrs. Ivory (Joshua) Morgan, and a host of step-siblings, great-grandchildren, uncles, aunts, cousins, and other extended family and friends. Celebration of Life for Ms. Paulette Cherry Clark will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021, 1pm in our Gwinnett Chapel. Burial at Gwinnett Memorial Park., Lawrenceville, GA., Visitation Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 4pm-6pm at Gregory B. Levett & Sons Funeral Home, 914 Scenic Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA., 30045
